The Spiaggiola della Guardiola, a characteristic and unique inlet. Much appreciated in the low season, as the bay is sheltered from the winds, making the temperature, both outside and water, higher than the other beaches.
The beach has no services, but we find the bar / restaurant in the nearby beach of Guardiola at 100m
Path from the small Beach of Guardiola Procchio to Biodola
Starting from the Guardiola beach (Procchio), you cross the beaches of the Porticciolo and the Lamaia, up to the Biodola beach. The Path is articulated in the undergrowth with tall trees of Holm oak, a characteristic plant of Elba and in particular of the Lamaia.
Very beautiful and evocative route, not demanding, given the little difference in height.
90% shaded, as the path is almost entirely inside the Guardiola park.
Coming from Portoferraio , we turn right 2 km before reaching Procchio , the road goes down to to the sea where we arrive at the parking lot.
From there we continue along the walkway over the sea towards Spiaggiola / Guardiola 500m
