Beaches to visit
The beaches of the island are all very beautiful:
below are listed some of the most characteristic.

Thanks to its Southern exposure, it is the first amongst the island beaches to be already frequented by bathers in the Spring months. Well known by the young who make it their meeting point. Photo Beach

A long beach, starting from the town and finishing at Guardiola on the extreme right, where the gulf closes in on itself, forming a unique shape.

A small, sandy beach located in an unusual inlet and surrounded by smooth, white rocks that make it all the more charming.
It is easily accessible from S. Andrea by an easy path over the rocks (about 800 m).

Biodola Beach is located inside the gulf of the same name together with that of Forno and Scaglieri, all very pretty and easily accessible.

It is the biggest beach on the island, starting from the center of town and finishing after 1500 m in the Foce locality.. Photo Gulf 1

The beach is very long and located in the gulf of the same name, where you also find numerous camping sites. Photo Beach

Much appreciated for its fine sand and the large amount of vegetation that surrounds the long, narrow inlet. Photo Beach

Padulella Beach (Portoferraio)
Together with the beaches of Ghiaie, Capo Bianco and Sansone, it is well known for the clarity of its water which contrasts with the white pebbles.
