Pomonte, a village at the foot of the mountains, on the west coast of Elba. Small village that has kept itself out of the big tour of mass tourism, still offering a simple yet precious hospitality to those who, on holiday, would like to find above all the silence and peace of when Elba was still to be discovered. On clearer days it is possible to admire the islands south of Elba (Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio and Corsica). It has beautiful beaches of granite gravel and smooth cliffs. In the village we find all the necessary services.
The Elviscot the Pomonte Wreck

The wreck of Pomonte has become a destination for numerous visits, it is easily accessible starting from the beach to swim to the nearby rock of the Ogliera where the ship’s hull rests on a detrital seabed at a depth of 12 meters.
The bow of the wreck has deteriorated from the storms while the stern lies in good condition. exploration of the Elviscot is easy thanks to the shallow depth .
