A SEA OF LIGHT, SCUBA DIVING AT THE ISLAND OF ELBA
The sea around the Elba Island preserves an almost complete example of the natural habitat you could admire underwater in the whole Tyrrhenian Sea. You may swim over fluctuating poseidonia meadows among which hide large shoals of salps, wrasses, sargos and lively donzellas, or you can descend among clouds of damselfish through large canals and walls covered with sea fans.
Caves and narrow passages between rocks open again and again on scenic landscapes. And even more, the sea still preserves evidence of the ancient sea trading and it is not rare to discover amphora fragments or other pieces of this kind.
