Sail Porto Azzurro in the enchanting village located on the east coast of Elba Island in a bay where the wind never fails, the Porto Azzurro sailing club has been present for more than twenty years. The headquarters is located at the beginning of the town and a stone’s throw from the sea, all those who decide to sign up for a sailing course or rent a boat will be able to fully enjoy the natural breeze of our gulf surrounded by green hills. Professionalism, courtesy and above all friendliness have always been our strength. You just have to try.
The goals of the Porto Azzurro Sailing Club
Being able to transmit knowledge, love for the sea and passion for this beautiful sport is our goal.
Sailing in Porto Azzurro , by participating in our courses you will have the opportunity to learn about a whole series of aspects related to the sea: wind, weather conditions, cardinal points, knots, windward, leeward and the basic elements of sailing and safety in sea. The boats used are: Optimist, Equipe, Laser, Vaurien, Violin 18, 420, 470, J24, cabin cruiser.
News 2009: For the little ones we have purchased two brand new Taz, boats that will go alongside the already tested optimists, with which the best sailors in the world have started sailing. Thanks to their simplicity, Taz and Optimist will give even the little ones the opportunity to have fun and then start racing.
Sailing course program
Baptism of sailing
During the boat trip in sailing in the Gulf of Porto Azzurro, the instructor will help you discover the main concepts of sailing. Duration 2 hours. Minimum 3 students €. 50.00 *
Basic Course for Boys
From 6 to 18 years old, organized by age group, in the morning, from 9.00 to 11.00, and from 11.00 to 13.00. The basics, nomenclature, gaits, safety. First wind: 3 weekly lessons of 2 hours each €. 70.00 * Brezza: 6 weekly lessons of 2 hours each €. 130.00 * Aeolus: 6 weekly lessons of 4 hours each €. 190.00 *
Basic Course Adults
3 lessons of 3 hours each. Minimum 3 students €. 120.00 * For those who want to do more +, 5 lessons, minimum 3 students €. 190.00 *
Intermediate course
For those who already have the basics and want to continue, to improve. Lessons in the morning for children, in the afternoon for adults. 5 lessons of 3 hours each €. 180.00 *
Advanced course
For those who have already practiced and wish to deepen the sailing technique, the adjustments of the sails, the Spi. 3 lessons of 2h.30 ‘. Minimum 3 students. €. 160,00 *

Regatta course
