Back in autumn version at Circolo della Vela Marciana Marina, Elbable, the palindroma regatta around the island of Elba organized in collaboration with the Yacht Club Cala dei Medici: the departure is scheduled for Saturday 15 October at 7.00 am in the stretch of water in front of Marciana Marina.

The regatta will take place as always around the Island of Elba, each owner will decide whether to complete the course clockwise or counterclockwise. This decision must be declared during the briefing (it will remain secret until the numbers are delivered) and cannot be changed. The route will be a complete tour of the Island of ELBA with departure and arrival in Marciana Marina . A buoy will be placed at the halfway point, where the lap times will be taken, which will be valid for the compilation of the ranking in case of shortening of the course.

The regatta is open to all boats equipped with an inboard engine and the admitted classes are ORC (boats in possession of the ORC-International measurement certificate o Club), IRC (boats in possession of the IRC-standard or simplified measurement certificate), Rating FIV, Hanse Cup. For all boats in the race the real arrival time will be recalculated using the relative compensation system through the specified parameter for “Time on distance.
