Elban artists to counter the madness of war

In Portoferraio an artistic manifesto against the madness of war

In a historical period in which 59 conflicts are underway in the world, with the resulting destruction and desperation, Elba artists unite to counter the madness of war.
#artistiuniticontrotutteleguerre aims to be a message of solidarity on the part of all those who responded to the appeal of the president of the Artists’ Club Elba Island, Alessandro Grosso, meeting in Portoferraio for two weeks in which art in all its expressions will promote peace.

“Art is freedom, it is expression, it is the means through which we can transform the world”

“Art is freedom, it is expression, it is the means through which we can transform the world”, says Alessandro Grosso, the first promoter and organizer of the event. “It is our response to the rampant madness of war, a cry of protest against injustice and a manifesto for a better future.”
