HORSE RIDING ON THE ISLAND OF ELBA – Equestrian Center Costa dei Gabbiani
The equestrian center is located within the COSTA DEI GABBIANI (Elba Island) and is located in the heart of the Tenuta delle Ripalte .
The center (affiliated with FISE – Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports), has a field in 20 × 40 sand, a 30 × 60 grass field, a rod, an obstacle park, a comfortable saddlery, a large and new stable and several paddocks.
It offers various routes, suitable for beginners and the more experienced, ranging from the beaches to the top of Mount Calamita, through the unspoiled nature of the Elbe natural park that completely surrounds the Center.
Everything being open the year organizes from September to January and from April to June rich excursions on horseback on weekends, long weekends and weeks.

The Center organizes:
RIDES on horseback with a duration that varies from 1 hour.
TREKKING on the whole island of Elba with a duration ranging from half a day to 6 days (entire tour of the island). On request it organizes excursions to Margherita, G.T.E. ( Grande Traversata Elbana ) and CUSTOM Island Tour in terms of itinerary, daily travel, logistic accommodation of horses and riders.
Basic HORSE RIDING SCHOOL for children and beginners. Advanced courses, MEETINGS, COMPETITIONS, EXAMS for obtaining licenses and patents … will take place according to a specific calendar. Education is given according to the dictates of the Italian Riding School.
