Project “Symphony of Young Talents”
The Isola d’Elba Foundation and the Coop.Soc. LINC, as part of the project “Symphony of young talents” created with the contribution of the Italian Youth Agency through the financial resources referred to in the Agreement stipulated with the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service of the PCM, approved by commissioner’s resolution on 21 August 2024, with prot. AIG/237 n° 237/2024, receive support from two entities in Portoferraio that actively promote the culture and social aggregation of the Island.
Music Workshop
The musical groups will be hosted by the Officina della Musica based in Portoferraio: a music school with courses in guitar, bass, drums, singing, violin, piano, music theory, harmony, and rehearsal room rental, which has offered to lend the rehearsal room free of charge for the meetings that will take place until the first days of May, to prepare the participants’ performances together with the singing teacher Marco Corsi. By offering this important support, the Officina demonstrates that it shares the enthusiasm for an innovative project, with young talents from Elba as protagonists, from which future stimulating collaborations can arise. To carry out the performances, the boys and girls have all the necessary equipment at their disposal, as well as being followed by a professional who leads the group: from creation, to rehearsals, to the material organization and the set-up during the days of the Festival. It is thanks to these valuable territorial cooperations that citizens of different ages and abilities, but with the same goals, can meet and work together.
Circle Carpani
Circle Carpani is the venue for the Teatro-Circo rehearsals. Due to the nature of the discipline, it was necessary to find a spacious place suitable for physical expression activities, such as a gym. For this reason, the large hall of the Circolo seemed suitable for the purpose. So every Tuesday afternoon the group, led by Novella Morellini and Alice Mancini, meets at the Circolo, in preparation for the show and the juggling workshop open to the public that will be held during the Festival. This work is allowing the girls who answered the call to learn a stimulating and creative discipline that combines synchronization with their companions with the agility of the body. Furthermore, the participating girls and boys have the opportunity to use a space where they can develop their passions, and share it with friends, friends and professionals.
Music Festival, an emotional test
The enthusiasm of the organizational and preparation part demonstrates how the objectives have already been achieved: “We are satisfied to have a united company and supporters who back our proposal – declares Martina Lo Coco of the LINC Cooperative. The tutors confirm that the girls and boys are happy to participate in the construction of a path, which has as its final objective the involvement and active participation of the young people of Elba and the Festival will be an exciting test for each of them”.
We remind you that during the Festival the public will be able to participate in the workshops that have as a common thread the passions and talents that young people bring to the table: the public will be able to test themselves and have fun with them.
