Health Support Fund to support residents of Elba Island
We would like to highlight the important initiative promoted by the Sanlorenzo Foundation, “Fondo Supporto Salute” (Health Support Fund). This fund is intended to support families living on the Island of Elba who must travel to the mainland for specialist visits or hospitalization in public healthcare facilities for their minor children.
Families residing in one of the seven Municipalities on the Island of Elba (Portoferraio, Campo nell’Elba, Capoliveri, Marciana, Marciana Marina, Porto Azzurro, Rio) with an ISEE no higher than 25,000 euros can request the voucher.
How to benefit from the Sanlorenzo Foundation’s “Health Support” Fund
Only one request per year per household is permitted, exclusively for healthcare services not yet received. The voucher value is €150 for same-day specialist visits or day hospital visits and €300 for hospitalizations with at least one overnight stay away from home. Payment will be made via bank transfer, upon presentation of certification of the healthcare service.

Alternatively, the application can be submitted in paper format to the Bottega della Salute in Portoferraio at the Misericordia headquarters. The call for applications is open until funds are exhausted. The outcome of the application will be communicated within 30 days of receiving the complete documentation.
