Onlus Elba Island

For many years now, the Elba Island Foundation, thanks to the visionary work of its director Patrizia Lupi and the support of its founding members and other Elban businesses, has played a leading role in the community, creating opportunities for cohesion and collaboration within numerous projects that have received recognition and funding from public and private bodies at the regional and national levels.

“The magazine Essere Elba,” declared President Mantovani, “is a tangible sign of the work of aggregation and cohesion that we are carrying out together with Cesvot and the partners of our cultural and social projects, starting with the Elban Memory Archive, which won the PNRR tender for the digitalization of cultural enterprises.”

First issue of “Essere Elba”

Being Elba - Doing good is good

We’ve included around 35 experiences and best practices in this first issue of “Essere Elba,” but in subsequent issues we’ll map all the archipelago’s associations to give voice to a generous and silent world that manages to organize itself to respond to society’s real needs. The goal is to keep alive and spread the material and immaterial values that represent the roots and identity of our islands. A conscious, cohesive community, capable of overcoming the fragility of the weakest groups,” Mantovani concludes, “restores dignity and hope to everyone, but above all creates the conditions for good living through the active participation of citizens.”
