The Marciana Marina beach is located on the main street of the town: it is made up of pebbles and stones. On the left side we have a pier for mooring boats and the entrance to the town’s tourist port.
On the right, once the larger rocks were over, there was the ancient port of Marciana Marina with its tower, (now incorporated into private homes). This is the characteristic Borgo al Cotone, natural inlet, formed by a large rock, which since ancient times was used as a shelter for boats; even today it is used to beach the characteristic goiters.
