Hotel Marinella is the very centre of the sea promenade of the town, with the ancient Cotone settlement and its houses on the rocks on a side and the famous Medici Tower and the marina on the other side.
This is the biggest pedestrian precint of the whole island, a meeting point, a place where you can relax, the stage of entertainment and shows in the summertime.
He beaches in Marciana Marina, on the promenade there are two beaches, one consisting of pebbles and the other consisting of sand, besides Fenicia, below the Medicean Tower at the far end of the sea front. Since all three face north, they never get too hot and are never very busy, so are perfect if you don’t want to take your car and but want all the facilities, available not only on the beaches but also provided by the shops.

Our garden in the backyard, the freshwater pool and the tennis courts are at our guests disposal in this warm and informal atmosphere.
Restaurant
Since the first opening of the hotel, the restaurant has been managed by the owners with an unquestioned prestige: our menus change every day and offer a variety of meat and fish dishes, typical of the tradition of the island.
Our Hotel offers Bed & Breakfast or Half Board Arrangement (dinner service).
Our hotel is the only one on the seaside of the town with a breathtaking view on the whole bay of Marciana Marina and the peninsula of Enfola.
The rooms Hotel Marinella
The Hotel comprises two buildings: the main block with the restaurant, bar and reception and the annexe, in the grounds but only a few metres from the main block.
All rooms provide bathroom with shower/wc and hair- dryer, air conditioning, sat tv, telephone, safe and free Wi-Fi. Frigo-bar on request.
Main block rooms
The main block contains the four Junior Suites and the double rooms. Some of the rooms here offer a splendid view of the harbour and promenade, while the others have equally charming vistas of the mountains around Marciana Marina, and have a balcony.
The double and twin rooms are divided into 3 types:
Superior rooms : renovated, with mini-fridge and bathroom with window.
Standard Rooms : small, but at the same time functional, recently renovated. With mini-fridge.
Economy Rooms: at 1st and 2nd floor, some with balcony (with sea or garden view) and carpeted.
Annexe rooms
In the garden building next to the pool and just a few metres from the Hotel’s main block, larger than the main block rooms and surrounded by the greenery of the extensive, quiet grounds, the annexe rooms are able to accommodate family groups of up to 4 people.
Dining Hotel Marinella
Food is a specific combination not just of flavours but also of forms, colours and consistencies. The wonderful power of food creation enables us to assemble ingredients into minor masterpieces, just waiting to be tasted and admired, touched and listened to.
Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet includes croissants, confectionery and toasting bread, all strictly home-made. Organic jams, cereals, biscuits, fruit juices, yoghurt and fresh fruits and just some of the sweet things that make up our breakfast spread. For the hungriest there are also ham, cheese and eggs, prepared to your taste. One part of the buffet contains gluten free products.
From mid June to mid September we will serve breakfast in the Hotel’s garden.
Dinner
The dinner menu varies from day to day and offers a rich assortment of fish and meat dishes, reinvented by our chefs’ skilful hands while still keeping faith with the Elba tradition. Our policy is to use local ingredients as far as possible.
We are particularly proud of the delicious, fresh confectionery produced by our pastry chef Francesco. We are able to make custom cakes and sweets for special occasions (book at least two days in advance).
Once a week during July and August we offer a 0 food mile menu made with the freshest local produce, a genuine homage to the products of the nearby sea and our Island’s tradition.
Hotel Marinella amenities
Bar
The bar never closes. From June to September you can savour our cocktails and aperitifs with irresistible nibbles overlooking the sea, comfortably seated on the sofas on the promenade outside the Hotel, or in the small lounge area in the garden.
Once a fortnight we invite our guests to an evening with live music, played by the Island’s top musicians.
Swimming pool
Our wide and sunny freshwater swimming-pool is surrounded by a lush garden. It’s open from 8:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m.
Tennis courts
The hotel has 2 tennis courts and a tennis teacher (this facility is not included). Reservation is required.
Parking
Free parking in the hotel area is at our guests disposal.
Excursions
Our staff is at your disposal to give you all kind of information and advises about every kind of excursions (cultural, diving, trekking, mountain bikes, kayak) or about boat trips around the beautiful Elba island or other islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
