ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER “DUNE DI LACONA”
Activities for children and adults are organized within the halls and garden of the facility, located in the central area of Elba Island. The CEA is equipped with microscopes and other optical instruments, digital audio and video media, educational panels, fact sheets, silhouettes, sensory games, and naturalistic artifacts. With the support of a Park Guide, visitors can observe the small details and understand the fragile balances that sustain marine ecosystems and allow the Pelagos Sanctuary to host a precious community of cetaceans.

Important environmental education topics are explored through games and activities. The surrounding dune system, protected by the Park, provides the inspiration for a series of nature-themed experiences. Almost all the activities offered are free, but reservations are required.
