On Thursday 11 July next, in Florence, at the headquarters of the Regional Council in Via Cavour 4 at 1.00 pm, the seventh edition of Enjoy Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago, the magazine that will be presented tells the islands of Tuscany, revealing their most hidden corners, leafing through the books and archives of history, looking at their bio and geodiversity under the microscope. Without losing sight of current events with its columns dedicated to lifestyle, hospitality and food and wine.

At the Regional Council

Elba Enjoy 2024

In the six columns the magazine, which has 96 articles thanks to the collaboration of over thirty authors and over forty photographers, outlines the identity of Elba and the other islands of the Archipelago: a journey to discover the most hidden corners and lesser-known stories .

The underlying theme of the 2024 edition is the theme of tradition, in particular of peasant culture, inviting the reader to seek out and taste local products, discover the producers and those who transform them, taste the typical dishes. Food is culture but also attention to the environment and the knowledge that has been handed down for generations. A parallel theme is that of social sustainability, intergenerational dialogue, volunteering and the value of the active participation of citizens, to make Elba hospitable even for those living in disadvantaged situations. The Islands, by their nature, offer breathtaking landscapes and environments of rare beauty but a territory is welcoming when alongside beauty you experience emotions and experiences in the name of health and psychophysical well-being. As usual, some articles are dedicated to the environment and environmental education, while in the lifestyle column we talk about the multifaceted cultural, sporting, artistic and recreational activities that animate the islands.

They will present the Elban entrepreneurs magazine

Elba Enjoy 2024 Tuscan Archiplago

The magazine will be presented at an event open to the public by the President of the Regional Council Antonio Mazzeo, the regional councilor Marco Landi, Daniela Mugnai of Vetrina Toscana, the Director of the magazine Patrizia Lupi, the Publisher and President of Simtur, Federico Massimo Ceschin , Antonio Arrighi, the agricultural entrepreneur from Elba who for years has become the representative of the excellence of Elban wine production. For the occasion, the young winemakers of Tenuta Acquabona in Portoferraio will offer a tasting of their products.

Tourist demand Elbana

«Tourist demand has changed – comments director Patrizia Lupi – and has evolved towards experiential travel, in the name of originality, uniqueness, genuineness and authenticity. But there is also greater attention to safety, hygiene, health, sustainability and outdoor activities, requirements that characterize the hospitality of the Tuscan Islands, still rich in places where nature coexists in harmony with the presence Human. The challenge of the Island ofElba and the other Pearls of the Tyrrhenian Sea is to generate a short hospitality chain that allows the integration of sea and land, landscape and identity, culture and leisure, entertainment and nature, flavors and experiences, memory and a look towards the future, qualified employment and quality of service, culture networking and cooperation, innovation and digitalisation, economic development and social inclusion, accessibility and usability. And Enjoy Elba wants to be, if not a protagonist, a spokesperson for this challenge».
