The wreck of the Cavo, the findings took place near a large maritime villa of the Cavo , at eastern end of the island of Elba, where a wooden anchor was recovered, in excellent condition, complete with a lead collar, of the type found, in less favorable conditions, on the wreck of La Chrétienne and Mozia.


A bronze steelyard weight (Archaeological Museum Florence ), possibly depicting Rome, a sestertius by Antoninus Pius and a large bronze medallion by Marcus Aurelius.
