Archery on Elba Archers of the Sea in Portoferraio
The “Arcieri del Mare” Amateur Sports Association, founded in 1996, has about 50 members.
It organizes archery courses open to adults and children. It is affiliated (with code 09ELBA) to the FIARC Italian Federation of Field Shooting Archers and to the UISP (Italian Union of Sport for All); the competitions are held in the Italian woods and three-dimensional silhouettes of animals are adopted as targets.
Among the ranks of the Association there are national and European champions.
Start-up courses, training and shooting competitions are held with the bow.
The courses are held at any time of the year, according to the commitments of the instructors.
